Good

I honestly wanted to love this game. I'm a big Douglas Adams fan. But seriously, the game was a major disappointment. In truth, Douglas actually didn't do terribly much work on the game. The game itself was often annoying due to some minor bugs and other things such as how the ship was designed in such a way as to be totally impossible to explore. Though there were some moments of excellence, to be honest most of the game was totally underwhelming. This review seems to be overflowing with praise but I think they were mostly excited that Douglas Adams worked on the game. Which he did. In a MINOR way.

I disagree with the review on Starship: Titanic. I've loved Adams' stuff in the past, but was greatly disappointed with this one. Your goals aside from upgrading your access to the ship were always vague. The screens, while beautiful, did not invite or suggest directions you could explore. It was easy to get your directions mixed up. Solutions were generally more frustrating and obscure than fun. I tend to pick up everything that comes out on DVD but I won't be buying a DVD copy of this.
