This is a magnificent game, one of my all time favorite adventure game from Lucas Arts, I must have completed this game many times over the years. In fact I just played it yesterday after probably 5-6 years break. I still own the original VGA CD from 92' and it still works. The only problem I have with this game is that it is too short but still worth playing. It is much better then most new games anyway.
Does anyone have a list of the magic dratfs????
I just played Loom and it wasn't as good as I had expected. It was just... too easy. But don't get me wrong, it is still a wonderful adventure game, and probably great for beginners at the field.
The music is absolutely enchanting.
I started playing computer games in 1990 and it seems to me that Loom was made not all that longer after 1990. I thought it was wonderful. It was on large floppy diskettes so thats how long ago it was, and later on, I was lucky to be able to buy a CD of Loom. Its dated now compared to moderm adventure games, but it hasn't lost its appeal and the story is as good as any new adventure games. I remember so well the part in the building with the machines and Bobbin meeting the other young man, but forget his name and the music was well done in the game. Tchiakowsky's Swan Lake music.
Once in a while I play the game again to remind myself of how imaginative and wonderful LOOM was. I would like to have seen a sequel of Loom but it didn't happen.
Does anyone know where I could buy Loom?
Does Lucasarts still sell their best classics?
Thanks whoever bothers to answer
