System Shock 2 is the sequel to the sleeper hit System Shock. True to its name, the sequel brings forth another epic fight against a new army of mutants, robots, and cyborgs. Again, a corrupted AI is killing everyone around you and you are charged with the mission to destroy…

Without System Shock 2, there wouldn't be a Deus Ex. The latter is one of my favorite games of all time. And I was deeply impressed by SS2 as well, of course.
System Shock 2 is a sophisticated, memorable, atmospheric game. Time has passed, other games with much better graphics have come out, but this title, nearly a decade after its release, still manages to send chills down your spine. Especially when you want it to - it takes two to tango after all ;)
I strongly recommend this game to anyone willing to dedicate his or her time. Of course, as SS2 is a mixture of FPS and RPG elements, I recommend this to people whose favorites also include games from both genres.
A MUST play for any Deus Ex fan, though.
don't try it if your heart is weak... damn scary, but what a brilliant game!
