Paradise is the first game to emerge from White Birds Productions, the French studio co-founded by game designer Benoit Sokal. Wow, this game really does sound awful. I heard negative reviews of it before, but didn't know exactly why the game is so much worse than Syberia (which are excellent, IMO). What happened?
Maybe the trouble is the name. "Paradise" is often thought to be the most boring part of Dante's Human Comedy. Maybe a game called "Inferno" would be more playable. ;-)
