Very Good

I remember playing this game when it was recently new. Although it isn't exactly like the poly-graphics of FF VII, which people loved so much, it was both entertaining and challenging.

The hard part was playing as Grace, and sometimes... forgetting an important clue or tool. It took several tries to get Grace past the pirates on the deck. It's a more crucial point and hard to navigate without alerting some edgy pirate to your whereabouts. Also, she can't fight off enemies, so it gets difficult at times to continue, especially when frustrated without the proper plan of action.

Overall, for its day and age, even though it's been outstripped by other recent games, Alone in the Dark 2 and its franchise was pretty good, albeit underappreciated. I'd try it before knocking it, at least once

People who are complaining about dying on the garden by not answering the question should roast in hell for having a pirated copy of the game.

If you guys had the original version, you would know that this is the copy protection, and you need the manual to answer it.

Hi,

I am continuously playing Alone in the dark 2. But after coming to a place I get stuck. The problem is I get stuck in the first place. In the garden. When I just enter the garden, I get killed. I don’t see any one, so how I can play?? More over when I get killed, a sentence appears saying, “You didn’t answer the question”.

What is the meaning of this?? Can you suggest.

Read the review of Alone in The Dark 2...what are you guys? Fucking stupid?! Aitd2 is a great classic with great puzzles and exciting action! I presume you were drunk when you wrote this review. Either that, or you are incredibly stupid! Well, I'll give you one more chance and read some other reviews of classics...
