I believe Douglas Adams wrote this game with Steve Meretzky using a 1400 baud (or there abouts) acoustic coupler link between Britain and America i.e. a telephone headpiece plugged into ear phones NOT a modem! Very slow. There are a few interesting points in the game but the puzzles are way too difficult. I kept raiding the hints which totally ruins games. As once you start you can't stop. I am a great fan of the Hitchhiker's books, radio play, and (first) video but feel the game let the side down. All available from Ebay cheaply! The Hitchhiker's Guide could be regarded a prediction to the internet. Al well as IF itself in a way as the links to rooms act a bit like hyperlinks.
it rules i play it 24/7 no joke
Where can I find The Infocom game Hitchhikers Guide to Galaxy?
Josh Mintzer's review of the Hitchoker's Guide is definitive and , possibly the most brilliant review in the history of game reviewing (perhaps in the entire history of all reviewing) A triumph!!!
