Just completed Mummy on an old Win 98 machine. I found the game both more charming and more maddening than the reviewer. The pixel hunting is almost comically brutal. At one point you are literally looking for a pin. (No haystack, alas.) I detest timed sequences but the ones here aren't too bad, except for one where you die half a dozen times before you can even turn around. The graphics are indeed dated but I thought the atmosphere just right for a spooky old mansion. The subsequent Frogwares Holmes are all far better, and truer to Conan Doyle, but I still enjoyed my time in Lord Montcaffe's overstuffed Victorian pile.
